Commissioning
Design review:
Designs and specifications are examined to ensure that they meet energy efficiency standards and project requirements. Opportunities for improvement can be identified and adjustments made if necessary.
Installation & construction:
During this phase, the installation of the energy systems is monitored to ensure that they are installed correctly and in accordance with the designs and specifications. Inspections, tests and adjustments are carried out to ensure that the systems and envelope elements are installed properly.
Initial commissioning:
Once the systems are installed, an initial commissioning is performed to ensure that they operate as intended. Controls are checked, parameters are adjusted and tests are carried out to confirm that the systems operate efficiently and meet energy performance standards.
Final testing and adjustments:
At this stage, additional tests are carried out to ensure compliance with energy performance requirements. Systems are adjusted and necessary changes are made to optimize their operation and efficiency.
Training and documentation:
Training is provided to building staff on the proper operation and maintenance of energy systems. In addition, comprehensive documentation is generated including operating manuals, commissioning reports and other relevant records.
Monitoring and verification:
After completion of commissioning, continuous follow-up is carried out to monitor the energy performance of the building. Periodic audits are carried out and the energy savings achieved are verified, ensuring that the systems continue to operate efficiently overtime.
